The Kevin Lynch Award Committee is pleased to announce the 2014 award cycle for MIT’s prestigious Kevin Lynch Award. Nominations will be solicited from a variety of sources, including a targeted selection committee and students in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. A short list of nominations will be presented on this website for public review and comment and the Award Committee will choose the winner, to be announced (TBD: Fall 2013/Spring 2014).
The award this cycle will seek to honor those whose work has moved Lynch’s ideas about public involvement in planning processes, participatory planning tools and methods, and responsive places that can reflect the changes that occur over time through the use of new digital media and technologies.
